Progress! Wednesday we received a couple units of 2x8x8's...it's time to start some framing! After having to dig out a good foot deep or more of sand across the lowest frost footing, we decided to get that framed in and done. I was sore for 2 1/2 days! Man, I am out of shape.
Michael's dad and brother helped us out this weekend. One forty foot section was completed and a couple of sections were put up on each thirty foot side. We found out that the wall we put up last fall had to come down because it wasn't green treated lumber...BUMMER! Atleast we can use it forsomething else.
The boys even helped us out! I think they are just as excited as we are. When this house is complete, we will all be able to say we had our own part in the build. That is a very good feeling.
And the wall came "tumbling" down...
